Volunteer for Weekend Volunteering Blog

This blog is looking for volunteer writers/bloggers! A few writer/blogger volunteers are needed to work on future blog posts. It is preferred if blogger resides in Houston, Texas or surrounding areas and or resides in a city in Texas as of now. The writer/blogger will research and look for new volunteering opportunities in Houston, Texas and surrounding communities or in other Texas cities, update existing volunteering opportunities as required, and eventually updating social media with the blog postings.

This volunteer opportunity is remote and flexible, but volunteers should be able to commit at least two blog posts or at least an hour every week. The volunteer should also have a passion for writing/blogging, volunteering opportunities, and non-profit organizations/charities. Internet research experience, social media experience, good writing skills, and excellent communication skills are preferable.

Volunteers can work on writing/blogging skills and also invite others to see their post when it is published on this blog. Volunteer recommendation letters for student volunteers can be given if needed. It is also a great volunteering opportunity to help other volunteers looking for flexible, weekend, and online volunteering opportunities.

Blogger’s posts will be published in their name.  However, all blog posts will be reviewed before publishing.

If interested, please send a few samples of your writing/blog posts to weekendvolunteering@gmail.com

The City website will receive a revitalized appearance to improve usability and overall functionality.
