Bo’s Place Volunteering Opportunities

Bo’s Place is a non-profit organization that offer support services to families grieving the death of a loved one.

Bo’s Place will take families to camp in November 2019. The opportunity is available for English- speaking and Spanish-speaking families enrolled in Bo’s Place program. They welcome volunteers to help out during those weekends. Volunteers need to be 18 years years old or older and must pass a background check.

Volunteers are also needed to help run grief support groups. Support group facilitator volunteers are needed. Facilitators will need to be 22 years or older, complete two days of training, and pass a background check. We offer Volunteer Facilitator Training opportunities twice per year. Volunteers must complete an interview and tour with the Volunteer Manager, followed by a background check and 28+ hours of training. English-speaking and Spanish-speaking volunteers are needed and there are opportunities at our main location and in Katy. Volunteers must be at least 22 years old.
