The Rowdy Girl Sanctuary is a non-profit organization that rescues farm animals and care for them in a state of the art animal facility that serves as a sanctuary. It is also an education center on plant based and environmental resources. It is first cattle ranch farm converted to a vegan sanctuary. Below are some volunteer opportunities:
1. Welcome Home Volunteer Day
Date: Sunday, December 10, 2017
Location: Rowdy Girl Sanctuary at 9667 Jimmy Phillips Blvd (Hwy 35) in Angleton, Texas.
Volunteers are needed for cleaning up debris, painting, cleaning poop, fixing fences, power-washing buildings, etc.to help recover completely from Hurricane Harvey.
Schedule
Orientation and Q&A: 10am-11am
Volunteer Work: 11am-1pm
Lunch, Raffle and Film: 1pm-2:30pm
Volunteer Work: 2:30pm-4pm
Final Raffle & End of Volunteer Day: 4pm
Optional Watch or Help Feed the Animals: 4pm-5pm
Want to volunteer?: All volunteers must be 14 years of age or older and must attend orientation. All volunteers must also sign Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement and send it back to the organization or bring when you go to volunteer.

Web Site Assistant –volunteer experienced in WordPress to help keep web site updated. This volunteer position can be performed from anywhere in the country, and no need to be an expert in WordPress. Email renee@rowdygirlsanctuary.org for more information.
